Calcium binding myeloid-associated proteins (8 kD and 14 kD; also known as p8,14 and as MRP-8, MRP-14) expressed at high levels in neutrophils and monocytes but lost during differentiation to macrophages. Related to migration inhibitory factor (MIF). Associated with keratinocyte cytoskeleton. Part of the S100 family.
